By replacing it with our Pusher intake manifold, you'll get a 65% flow gain under the same inlet pressure. We use 3' mandrel - bent 16ga tubing to match the factory charge tubes and TIG weld the system precisely. It has a 1/2' thick flange with a new factory o - ring gasket and 2 1/8' NPT ports for boost gauges or injectors. Using this intake manifold is easy. First, make sure your vehicle is a 2005 - 2007 Ford F - Series with a 6.0L Powerstroke engine. Remove the factory intake elbow carefully. Then, install the Pusher intake manifold in its place, using the included OEM gasket and making sure the 1/2' thick flange fits properly. Connect the boost gauge or injectors to the 2 1/8' NPT ports if needed. As for maintenance, check the TIG - welded joints regularly for any signs of damage. Keep the intake manifold clean to ensure optimal performance. If you notice any decrease in performance, like a drop in MPG or slower throttle response, it might be time to have it inspected.
