These new FASS fuel filter packs (Part Number: FP3000) are designed with convenience in mind. They are universal and perfect for maintaining multiple FASS Fuel Systems. The suction - side Particulate filter, rated at 144 microns, greatly reduces cavitation and sound output of your FASS System. It also boosts flow properties and gets rid of larger fuel particulates. Included in the kit is the new and improved extreme water separator, rated at 2 - micron absolute. This filter element can trap over 99% of the water, so there's no need for a drain on the separator. Each filter has a 25,000 - mile life expectancy. The pack includes (2) (XWS - 3002) Extreme Water Separators and (2) (PF - 3001) Particulate Filters. Note that the new XWS - 3002 must be used with the PF - 3001, and they can't be combined with the FF - 3003/FF - 3010 or FS - 1001/FS - 1020. When replacing old filters, place the XWS - 3002 on the pressure side of the pump and the PF - 3001 on the suction side. Refer to the location diagram on the new filters for proper placement.
