The 144 - micron suction - side XL Particulate filter reduces cavitation and noise in your FASS System, boosts flow, and removes big fuel particles. The kit also includes the new and improved 2 - micron absolute XL extreme water separator. It traps over 99% of water, so you don't need a drain on the separator!

Notes
- The new XWS - 3002XL must be used with the PF - 3001XL. You can't use these new filters with FF - 3003/FF - 3010 or FS - 1001/FS - 1020.
- When replacing old filters with the new XWS - 3002XL and PF - 3001XL, put the XWS - 3002XL on the pressure side of the pump and the PF - 3001XL on the suction side.
- Check the location diagram on the new filters for correct placement.


Using your Universal Fass XL Fuel Filter Pack (FP3000XL) is easy. First, make sure you use the XWS - 3002XL extreme water separator together with the PF - 3001XL particulate filter. When installing, place the XWS - 3002XL on the pressure side of the pump and the PF - 3001XL on the suction side. Refer to the location diagram on the filters to ensure proper placement. Regarding maintenance, these filters are designed to extend service intervals. They have a life expectancy of up to 30,000 miles. Just keep an eye on your fuel system's performance. If you notice any changes in noise, flow, or fuel quality, it might be time to check the filters. Remember, since the water separator traps over 99% of water, you don't need to worry about draining it.
