• KC turbos fit 7.3L pick - up trucks directly. For 7.3L vans, you'll need to modify the turbo intake boot and down - pipe.

EXHAUST BRAKES: KC Turbos often gets questions about exhaust brakes. Some brands may have clearance issues that can affect performance. It's up to you to check fitment and functionality.

Using the KC300x G3 Stage 1 Turbocharger is easy. It's a 100% drop - in turbo, so no modifications are needed when installing it in 1999 - 2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke pick - up trucks. Just make sure to use the included gaskets, o - rings, and the newly upgraded 4' intake boot. For vans with 7.3L engines, you'll have to modify the turbo intake boot and down - pipe. When it comes to exhaust brakes, be aware that some brands might not work well with this turbo. You need to check the fitment and functionality yourself.
