Each PPE Manifold Stud is precisely centerless ground and rolled, reducing stress and boosting durability. Using studs and nuts enables accurate torque measurement and even load distribution. This set comes with 12 - point flange nuts, and all fasteners have a black oxide finish.

Cummins 5.9L 12v (1994 - 1998) for aftermarket exhaust manifold only. Cummins 5.9L 24V (1998.5 - 2002). Cummins 5.9L 24V (2003 - 2007) needs factory heat shield removal. Cummins 6.7L 24V (2007.5 - 2018).
Using this exhaust manifold stud nut and washer kit is easy. First, make sure your engine is cool before starting the installation. Just replace the old, corroded or broken bolts with the ones in this kit. Remember to use the thread lubricant packet that comes with it for a smooth installation. For the Cummins 5.9L 24V from 2003 - 2007, you'll need to remove the factory heat shield. When tightening the nuts, use a torque wrench to ensure accurate torque measurement. As for maintenance, regularly check the bolts for any signs of looseness or corrosion. If you notice any issues, replace the bolts right away to prevent exhaust leaks. Keep the kit in a dry place when not in use to maintain its quality.
