Using this exhaust manifold stud kit is quite straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible models: 1994 - 1998 Dodge Ram 12V with 5.9L Cummins (aftermarket manifold only), 1998.5 - 2002 Dodge Ram 24v with 5.9L Cummins, 2003 - 2007 Dodge Ram 24v with 5.9L Cummins (you'll need to remove the heat shield), or 2007.5 - 2018 Dodge Ram 24v with 6.7L Cummins. When installing, use the 6mm hex head for easy fitting. Torque the studs to 40lbs with anti - seize. The kit comes with 12 - point nuts and washers. As for maintenance, since it's made of aged 630 stainless steel, it won't rust or corrode, so you don't have to do much. Just keep an eye on it during regular vehicle check - ups to make sure everything is still in place and working well.
