Using these brake pads is straightforward. First, check if your vehicle is in the list of compatible models. Don't install the upgraded pads on the rear wheels unless you've also upgraded the front ones. When installing, don't try to remove the Thermic Black coating on the discs rotors. Just put the brake pads in place and let the normal braking action do its job. In the first 10 to 20 stops after installation, the coating in the pad swept area will be removed naturally. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the wear of the brake pads. If you notice a decrease in braking performance or strange noises, it might be time to check or replace the pads. Remember, any attempt to remove the Thermic Black coating with brake cleaner or other methods won't be covered by the EBC warranty.
