Notes
- If your ball joint press kit lacks a die with an ID of at least 1.93” and a depth of at least 0.86”, you'll need the 7460 - 4007 Upper Ball Joint Installation Tool.
- The EMF - K3134 joint can be pressed in by a die on the cap, but it may damage the cap threads, affecting rebuildability and tightening. EMF isn't responsible for cap damage during installation without the tool.

- These ball joints are meant to be rebuilt. Internal races and pins will wear over time. They're only covered if there's a manufacturing defect causing premature wear. Regular maintenance like tightening the cap and greasing is needed for longer product life.
These single upper ball joints are designed for 1984 - 2015 Jeep models. To install them, if your ball joint press kit doesn't have a die with an ID of at least 1.93 inches and a depth of at least 0.86 inches, you'll need to buy the 7460 - 4007 Upper Ball Joint Installation Tool. Be careful when pressing in the EMF - K3134 joint using a die on the cap as it might damage the cap threads. During normal use, these ball joints are built to last. However, the internal races and pins will wear out over time. To keep them in good shape, you should regularly tighten the cap and add grease. If you think there's a material or manufacturing defect, contact EMF directly to get it sorted out. Just remember, the warranty won't cover damage from using the product wrong, installing it incorrectly, or problems from other parts of your vehicle.
