• This isn't a direct replacement for 2004.5+ Duramax without an EGR Delete. It only fits when you have an EGR Delete installed.
• An aftermarket downpipe is required, and some modifications are needed.

This up - pipe is easy to use. First, make sure your vehicle is from 2001 - 2015 GM with a 6.6L Duramax engine. If it's a 2004.5+ Duramax, you must have an EGR Delete installed. Also, you'll need an aftermarket downpipe, and some modifications to the vehicle might be necessary. When installing, check that the precision - cast mounting flanges fit well to prevent exhaust tubing blowouts. Maintenance is simple. Since it's made of 304 and 304L stainless steel, it won't corrode easily. Just keep an eye on the bellows and flanges over time. If you notice any issues, like a drop in turbo response or increased EGT's, it might be time to inspect the up - pipe more closely.
