Using this steering kit is quite straightforward. First, make sure you have the right tools on hand - just basic hand tools are needed as all components are 100% bolt - on. When installing, start by identifying each part. The Drag Link and Tie Rod come with Synergy Double Adjuster Sleeves, which are great as you can adjust their lengths without removing them from the vehicle. Be careful when fitting the Drag Link to ensure it clears the factory axle brackets. The Tie Rod should clear the sway bar mounts. When it comes to the Tie Rod Stabilizer Clamp, use it to hold the factory or aftermarket stabilizer in place. There are a few things to note. Synergy MFG can't guarantee that the kit will fit with aftermarket differential covers. If you have a 2003 - 2008 truck with a stock pitman arm, it's a good idea to switch to the Mopar pitman arm (P/N: 68039930AA). And for 2013 Dodge Ram 3500, check which steering style your truck has before ordering. For maintenance, the suspension components have an abrasive - resistant powder coat finish. However, it's still a good idea to regularly check for any signs of wear and tear, especially on the tie rod ends. If you notice any 'flop' in the Tie Rod, the 'wobble stopper' grease boots might need attention. Keep the components clean and lubricated as needed to ensure long - lasting performance.
