The PPE Compound Washer combines an oil - resistant Viton rubber seal with a steel metal core. It offers a tight seal for your oil pan drain plug and stays effective even after multiple oil changes. This washer is compatible with the PPE 12mm Drain Plug (SKU 114052201) and the PPE 14mm Magnetic Drain Plug (SKU 114052001), as well as most factory 12 or 14mm thread oil drain plugs. Using this compound washer is easy. First, make sure your oil drain plug is clean. Then, place the washer on the drain plug before screwing it back into the oil pan.
