Using this Mishimoto Magnetic Oil Drain Plug is easy. First, make sure your engine is cool. Then, remove the old drain plug and replace it with this magnetic one. Tighten it to 15 ft/lbs of torque, but don't go over this limit as it could damage the plug or the engine. As for maintenance, when you change your engine oil, take a look at the magnet on the plug.
