Warranty
Using this gasket kit is straightforward. First, make sure your Ford F - Series with a 6.4L Powerstroke engine from 2008 - 2010 is turned off and cooled down. Then, carefully remove the old gaskets of the 6.4L twin - turbo assembly. Next, install the new gaskets from the BD 179618 kit. Remember, if you have individual turbos (179515 or 179523), the 179618 Install Kit is needed, but it's already part of complete twin assemblies. Also, if you have 179514 - B, 1047080 or 1047081 turbos, the kit is already included. As for maintenance, regularly check the gaskets for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, replace the gaskets promptly. The kit comes with a 12 - month or 12,000 - mile warranty, so you can use it with confidence.
