Notes

• The round filter blocks make it more compact. The bracket must stay bolted near the alternator. It uses barbs and small worm clamps instead of crimped fittings, and replaces the brass tee and part of the coolant line.
• Replace the first filter at 500 miles, the second and third at 3,000 miles each. After three changes, replace once a year.
• There may be clearance issues with Banks Power Hot Side Charge Pipe.
• Does not work with Extended Life Filter.

Using this filtration system is easy. First, check that your vehicle is a 2003 - 2007 Ford F - Series with a 6.0L Powerstroke engine. The system comes with an easy - to - install mounting bracket that fits into factory holes, so you don't need to drill anything. Just bolt the bracket near the alternator as described. When it comes to maintenance, replace the first filter after driving 500 miles. Then, replace the second and third filters after every 3,000 miles. After you've done three filter changes, you only need to replace the filter once a year. Be aware that there could be clearance problems if you have a Banks Power Hot Side Charge Pipe on your vehicle. Also, this system won't work with an Extended Life Filter. And remember, the round filter blocks are more compact, and the bracket and hose setup are a bit different from what you might be used to, but it's all designed to keep your engine running smoothly.
