This Motul brake fluid is suitable for all hydraulic actuated brake and clutch systems that need a non-silicone synthetic fluid. It's specially made for high-temperature racing brake (steel or carbon) and clutch systems. It exceeds DOT 5.1 and DOT 3 standards (except viscosity at -40C). With extreme thermal resistance and stability, its high boiling point (312C / 594F) is better than conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone, DOT 5 silicone, and DOT 4 fluids. This ensures effective braking in extreme conditions. It also performs well in rainy weather, thanks to its high wet boiling point (204C / 399F), higher than conventional DOT 5.1 non-silicone and DOT 4 fluids. Remember, avoid mixing with lower-performance polyglycols based brake fluid, silicone (DOT 5), or mineral base fluids (LHM). Store it in the original, tightly closed container to prevent moisture absorption. It's an aggressive chemical, so rinse thoroughly with water if it contacts your skin.
