Using this 6' rear block kit is easy. First, remove the 1' factory block from your 2014 - 2018 GMC/Chevrolet 1500 truck. Then, install the new 6' block kit, which comes with longer U - bolts and hardware. This will safely lift the rear of your truck by an additional 5' and give it a slight rake for better towing. Note that ReadyLIFT recommends using the 67 - 3809 Rear Shock Extension Kit or longer shocks when using this lift block. For maintenance, regularly check the U - bolts and hardware for tightness.
