Using these steering alignment plates is easy. First, locate the wheel studs on your vehicle. The plates are designed to sit directly on these studs. Once placed, you can start setting the toe and castor alignment by yourself, getting a very accurate reading. This saves you from taking your vehicle to a shop every time you make a steering modification. Remember, these plates work with lug diameters up to 5/8'. When it comes to maintenance, keep them clean and dry. After use, you can simply wipe them down with a clean cloth. Since they are made of 1/8' hot - rolled steel and have a 3/16 steel design, they are quite durable, but avoid exposing them to extreme conditions for long periods to ensure their longevity. These plates are sold in pairs, so you'll have what you need for both sides of your vehicle.
