Using this harness plug kit is easy. Just find the appropriate harnesses under the hood and under the truck's body and fit the caps onto them. Make sure they're securely attached. As for maintenance, you don't need to do much. Just check the caps regularly to ensure they're still in place and there are no signs of damage. If you notice any cracks or looseness, it might be time to replace the caps. Also, remember that the base kit doesn't come with DEF tank plugs and shift - on - the - fly plugs. If you need those, you'll have to get them separately.
