What is Tuning
Custom tuning your truck lets you change lots of engine and transmission settings. Most customers tune for better fuel economy. By changing the fuel burn rate and removing EGR gases (if possible), we can get more energy from the fuel, which means better mileage and more power.

These tune files are designed for 2018 - 2019 GMC Terrain with a 1.6L Turbo Diesel engine. To use them, you'll need an HP MPVI2 or MPVI3 device and 2 credits to flash the ECM. When you order, let us know your truck's upgrades and preferences so we can create the best - fitting tunes. For installation, click on the provided link to view the MPVI Tuning instruction. Note that these are just the tune files, so make sure you have the necessary device and credits. As for maintenance, keep your MPVI device in good condition and follow the general vehicle maintenance guidelines. This will help ensure that your truck continues to perform well with the custom tunes.
