This rebuild kit is designed for 2005 - 2010 Ford F - Series with 6.0L/6.4L Powerstroke engines and 5R110 transmissions. To use it, first, make sure you've drained the old transmission fluid. Then, carefully remove the old parts following your vehicle's service manual. Replace them with the parts from the kit one by one. When installing the friction plates and steel plates, ensure they're in the correct order. After the installation, refill the transmission with the appropriate fluid. As for maintenance, it's a good idea to check the fluid level regularly and change the fluid and filter according to your vehicle's maintenance schedule. Also, consider getting the BD Heavy Duty Transmission Pan for better performance and durability.
