Using this locking hitch pin is easy. First, make sure your trailer and the receiver are properly aligned. Then insert the 3/4 - inch or 5/8 - inch pin (depending on your needs) into the receiver. If you have multiple pins, since they're keyed alike, one key will work for all. When it comes to maintenance, keep the pin clean from dirt and debris. After each use, give it a quick wipe down. Avoid using excessive force when locking or unlocking the pin. Store it in a dry place when not in use to prevent rusting.
