The PedalMonster is the only throttle sensitivity controller that connects via the vehicle's OBD - II port. It reads vehicle data, offering unmatched control and safety. This easy - to - install plug - and - play module lets you adjust throttle response, getting rid of the annoying 'dead pedal'.

Safety

The PedalMonster is the only throttle sensitivity device with ActiveSafety®. Modern throttle pedals communicate with the vehicle's ECM via APP1 and APP2 signals. The PedalMonster's Watchdog Circuitry constantly checks these signals. If it detects irregularities, it returns to stock, so you won't lose power.

Notes

• If you're using the PedalMonster with the Derringer tuner, choose 'PedalMonster - For Use w/ Existing iDash And/Or Derringer' as you'll need the adapter cable.

Using the PedalMonster is super easy. First, it's a plug - and - play device. Just connect it to your vehicle's OBD - II port. Once it's connected, you can start adjusting the throttle response according to your driving needs. You can use the mobile app or iDash to control and view its activity in real - time. There are 3 driving environments (City, Sport, and Track) and 150 unique throttle contours for you to choose from. In the City mode, you'll have a smooth linear throttle feel for daily driving. The Sport mode adds more mid - range sensitivity, and the Track mode helps you get power faster with less throttle input. When it comes to safety, don't worry. The PedalMonster has an ActiveSafety® failsafe system. Its Watchdog Circuitry constantly monitors the signals between the throttle pedal and the vehicle's ECM. If it notices any irregularities, it will return the throttle to the stock setting, so you won't lose power while driving. If you plan to use the PedalMonster with the Derringer tuner, make sure to choose the option 'PedalMonster - For Use w/ Existing iDash And/Or Derringer' as you'll need an adapter cable. And remember, the PedalMonster app can be used with all versions of the device. As for maintenance, there isn't much to do. Just keep it clean and make sure the connections are secure.
