Just turn the screw, purge the air, and then tighten it, no need to remove the whole screw.

Using this thermostat housing cover is a breeze. First, find a suitable place to work on your vehicle. You can easily install it as it's a bolt - on type. Just align it properly and tighten the bolts. When it comes to purging air from the system, simply turn the Black Anodized Aluminum Bleeder Screw. This allows air to escape through the built - in air channel. Once the air is purged, tighten the screw back up. As for maintenance, since it's made of corrosion and rust - resistant Cast 304 Stainless Steel, you don't need to worry too much.
