Using this skid plate adapter kit is easy. First, make sure your Toyota Tundra is from 2007 to 2021 and you have a TRD Pro Skid Plate. If you're using a TRD Pro Plus 2' lift kit (69 - 5420), you can start the installation. Use the new longer hardware provided in the kit to attach the CNC machined billet aluminum skid plate spacer assembly. Remember, this kit doesn't work with cross - member kits. For maintenance, regularly check the hardware for tightness. If you notice any signs of wear on the skid plate spacer, have it inspected or replaced as needed.
