These replacement radius arms from BDS are a great upgrade. Made of stamped steel, the stock arms can be a problem when leveling or lift kits are added as the front axle shifts rearward. - For 2005 - 2016 models, they're for direct replacement on vehicles with 2' - 4' of front - end lift.
- For 2017+ models, they're for direct replacement on vehicles with 2.5' - 4' of front - end lift.
Notes
- Don't use them with radius arm drop brackets at 2 - 4' lift heights. If you have a BDS radius arm drop bracket kit, remove the drop bracket to install these arms.
- For 6' of front lift, you can install the radius arms with the drop brackets as a direct swap for factory arms. Just check the caster if ball joint cams are installed.
Installation
Using this BDS radius arm kit is straightforward. First, check your vehicle's year and front - end lift height to ensure it matches the kit's specifications. If you have a 2005 - 2016 model with 2' - 4' of front - end lift or a 2017+ model with 2.5' - 4' of front - end lift, it's a direct replacement. At 2 - 4' lift heights, make sure to remove the radius arm drop brackets before installation. For 6' of front lift, you can use the drop brackets, but check the caster if ball joint cams are installed. When it comes to maintenance, regularly inspect the arms for any signs of wear or damage.
