It's designed to mount on top of the strut assembly, so you don't have to deal with compressing springs. When choosing tires, make sure to stick to the tire fitment guidelines. The maximum tire diameter is 32 inches. For example, 32x10.50 tires work well on a 9 - inch wide wheel with +12 offset. As for maintenance, regularly check the steel upper strut extensions with the black finish. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, it's a good idea to have them inspected. Also, keep an eye on the differential drop spacer and skid plate spacer kit to ensure they are in good condition.
