This intercooler outlet elbow kit is a great upgrade for your 2006 - 2010 GMC/Chevrolet with LBZ/LMM 6.6L Duramax engine. To use it, first, remove the old, weak plastic part from your vehicle. Then, install the new 3.5 - inch elbow using the provided stainless - steel T - bolt clamps. Connect the HD silicone reducer boot and make sure to use the new wire clip ring for a secure intercooler flange connection. When installing, remember that this product is not compatible with the OEM passenger/cold side intercooler pipe. As for maintenance, check the clamps regularly to ensure they're tight. Also, keep an eye on the powder - coat finish. If you notice any chips or scratches, touch them up to prevent rust.
