Diesel Fuel Tanks
S&B replacement fuel tanks come with a lifetime limited warranty for the original purchaser. If there's a defect, material, or workmanship issue, S&B will replace it. The S&B Million Mile Limited Warranty terms also apply. But damage from improper installation or use isn't covered.

Using the S&B 40 - gallon replacement fuel tank for your 2000 - 2010 Powerstroke is straightforward. First, you can install it in just 1 - 2 hours without any cutting required. The tank reuses the OEM skid plate and has an OEM - style sending unit mount, which means your truck's sending unit and DTE will work as if it's fresh from the factory. When it comes to maintenance, since the tank is made of Polyethylene, it won't delaminate over time, so you don't have to worry about inner coating peeling and contaminating the fuel system. However, there are some important notes. Don't use an auxiliary fuel tank with this product, as it will void the lifetime limited warranty. If you ever encounter a problem with the tank related to defect, materials, or workmanship, S&B will replace it for you. But remember, damage due to improper installation or use isn't covered by the warranty.
