This kit is designed for 2004.5 - 2007 5.9L Cummins trucks with a fuel pump in the fuel tank. Note that it won't work with trucks having the fuel pump on the factory fuel filter bowl. If your vehicle has such a setup, you'll need an aftermarket lift pump along with the Sinister Diesel CAT Filter Adapter.

Using this Sinister Diesel CAT fuel filter adapter kit is easy. First, check if your vehicle is a 2004.5 - 2007 Dodge Ram with a 5.9L Powerstroke engine and has the fuel pump in the fuel tank. If so, you can directly install the 2 - micron CAT fuel filter using the adapter without major modifications.
