It features a 5 - inch constant - diameter mandrel - bent aluminized steel tubing and a patented tip. This setup virtually gets rid of backpressure after the DPF and stops trailer meltdowns.

This 5 - foot aluminized steel DPF - back exhaust system with a patented negative - backpressure SideKick tip is amazing. It can reduce backpressure by up to 9% at the turbine inlet, improving throttle response and fuel economy. It helps the engine breathe better.

The factory Ram exhaust has pipes of different sizes welded together, creating resistance. In contrast, the Banks 5 - inch Monster Exhaust has a smooth, constant inner diameter. It maintains exhaust gas scavenging from the tip to the DPF outlet.
