Using this P1 Performance Products CDAL443 4" DPF & CAT Delete Race Pipe and Muffler is straightforward. First, make sure your truck is a 2007.5 - 2012 Dodge Ram with a 6.7L Cummins engine. Note that it won't fit regular cab trucks. For installation, since it has a bolt - on, no - weld design, you can finish the job in about one and a half to two hours. All the necessary clamps and parts come in one box and fit directly to the OEM hangers. As for maintenance, because it's made of heavy - duty aluminized steel with fully sealed tubing, it's quite durable. But it's a good idea to check the connections and the muffler periodically, say every few months, to make sure everything is tight and in good condition.
