Product Details

Description: Upgrade your 2011 - 2014 Chevrolet/GMC 2500/3500 with a 6.6L Duramax engine by replacing the plain factory coolant reservoir with this sleek aluminum one. CNC cut and bent, it eliminates the risk of coolant leaks, as the factory plastic can become brittle and discolored over time. This tank comes with a factory low coolant sensor and proper fittings to tidy up the factory hoses. Part Number: 527 - 1 - HSP. Features: More appealing and durable than factory plastic, made from CNC - cut and bent aluminum, and proudly made in the USA. Includes: 1x Radiator Cap, 3x 1/2' Worm Gear Clamps, 1x 3/8' Coolant Plug, 1x 1' Worm Gear Clamp, 1x Low Coolant Sensor LML, 1x 1/2' NPT Float Switch, 14' of 1/2' Heater Hose. Compatible with LML: 11+ VIN Code 8. The engine code is determined by the 8th character of the VIN number, and the 10th character indicates the truck's year.

Using this coolant tank is easy. First, make sure your engine is cool before starting the replacement process. Remove the old factory coolant reservoir carefully. Then, install the new aluminum coolant tank in its place, using the included fittings and clamps. Connect the low coolant sensor and make sure it's properly attached. Fill the tank with the appropriate coolant. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the coolant level. If it's low, top it up. Inspect the tank and hoses for any signs of leaks or damage. If you notice any issues, address them right away. Remember, this tank is compatible with specific VIN codes, so double - check your vehicle's VIN number to ensure it fits your truck.
