This CAT coolant replacement kit is a great fit for all Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration Kits and their bypass oil/coolant filtration kits. It's even available as an upgrade option on many models. These replacement CAT coolant filters are built tough to handle the harshest conditions. They're ideal for Powerstroke, Duramax, or Cummins - powered diesel trucks. The advanced filtration in each filter gets rid of contaminants such as casting sand from manufacturing, metal shavings from wear, rust, and mineral deposits in the coolant. These contaminants can harm your cooling and lubrication systems, leading to breakdowns, overheating, and costly engine damage.

For new installations of a Sinister Diesel CAT Coolant Filter, Sinister suggests replacing the first filter after 500 miles, and the second and third filters after 3,000 miles each. After three filter changes, you can replace the filter once a year.

Using this CAT coolant filter is easy. First, make sure your truck has a Sinister Diesel Coolant Filtration Kit as this filter is a direct fit for it. When you first install the filter in your diesel truck (Powerstroke, Duramax, or Cummins - powered), remember to replace the first filter after driving 500 miles. Then, replace the second and third filters after every 3,000 miles of driving. After three filter changes, you only need to replace the filter once a year. Be aware that the filter is designed to remove harmful stuff like sand, metal shavings, rust, and mineral deposits from the coolant.
