Notes
- Bi-Xenon projectors need high beam splitters
- Won't work with vehicles having DRLs on low beam circuit due to pulsed low voltage current. No issue with DRLs on high beam bulb.
- Designed for VW and Euro market, works well on cars like new VW MK5 Golfs, Jettas, BMW E46.
- Doesn't work well on domestic cars/trucks like Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. You need Morimoto's 'Mopar Spec' products!
Using this Morimoto Standalone Canbus Harness is easy. First, check if your vehicle is compatible with it. It fits most European and American vehicles, but not those with DRL on the low beam circuit. Connect the input to the appropriate pins (2 Pin like 9006, H1, H7, H11 etc) and the output to the 9006 female socket. If you have a high beam, connect it to the 2 - pin Molex Female (for H4, 9007, H13 only). For Bi - Xenon projectors, make sure to use high beam splitters. When it comes to maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Since it has a die - cast aluminum shell with a black painted finish, avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals that could damage the finish. If you have a domestic car or truck like Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep, this harness may not work well, and you should consider Morimoto's 'Mopar Spec' products instead. The harness comes with a 2 - year warranty, so if you encounter any problems during this period, you can get support.
