Using these EBC slotted rear rotors is easy. First, make sure your vehicle is one of the compatible models listed. When installing, you don't need to remove the Thermic Black coating on the rotors. Just put them in place as they are. After installation, during the first 10 to 20 stops, the brake pads will naturally remove the coating in the area they sweep. Here are some important things to note. Only upgrade the rear pads if you've also upgraded the front ones. Never try to remove the Thermic Black coating with brake cleaner or other methods. If you do, it won't be covered by the EBC warranty. For maintenance, regularly check the rotors for any signs of wear and tear. If you notice any issues, it's best to consult a professional mechanic.
